About UsHello folks, my name is Joe Rehmel, the owner of JoDash Creations. I have been very blessed in this life. I was raised by Pentecostal parents and my dad was a Pastor with a deep respect for God. He has since gone on to be with the good Lord. I have been married to my sweet wife Tresa for 31 years and we are still the best of friends. I am the adult Sunday school teacher at our church. I have worked in production manufacturing for more than 3 decades. Between deer seasons I have worked in a hot rod shop building bad Bowties, Mopars and old Henry’s.
I gained my love for the outdoors and hunting around the young age of 5 or 6 years old from my dad. He taught me how to hunt raccoons, elk, and mule deer. My passion for archery started when I was eight years old. I spent a week at my uncle's house and was introduced to the first hunting recurve bow that I had ever seen, which belonged to my cousin. I spent all of my free time that week shooting my cousin’s bow. At the age of 16, I traded in my very first shotgun and some money earned from detasseling corn for my first genuine Darton Ranger recurve bow. I wore out that poor bow in my backyard the first summer I had it. In my mid-twenties I met a guy, who has since became one of my best friends, that has shown me how to set-up a bow and how to hunt deer by watching Wilbur and Jimmy Primos and Bill Jordan. My friend has also taught me deer mannerisms by Curt Gowdy’s “A Year in a Deer’s Life.” I have been a crazy whitetail fanatic for 30 years thanks to this friend that likes to be known as “LEGEND”. |
